Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
§ Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related area from an accredited university by the date of appointment.
§ A Student Success Statement that demonstrates your commitment and record of contributions through applicant’s teaching, scholarship, or service, by addressing at least two of the inclusive excellence criteria listed above.
§ An ability to articulate complex subject matter to undergraduate and graduate students.
§ An ability to teach most of the core courses offered in the department, including courses from the freshman through the graduate level.
§ Demonstrated commitment and ability to contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through teaching, scholarship, research, and/or service in an inclusive environment.
Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
§ Expertise in the field of machine design and/or robotics and mechatronics.
§ A minimum of 1 year of relevant professional or teaching experience.
§ P.E. license.

§ The names, titles, addresses, and telephone numbers of at least five individuals who can speak to the candidate’s potential for success in this position.
§ Unofficial transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate coursework, showing highest degree earned.

§ Finalists for the position will be required to provide three original recent (within two years) letters of reference and official transcript showing the highest degree earned.
