Undergraduate Intern / Co-op Program Overview-

·         3 months or more intern / co-op within a functional area of MKS Instruments that provides students a comprehensive and engaging experience from before your program starts to after the program ends.

·         Meaningful work and project assignments

We are looking for an exceptional mechanical engineering Intern who can

·         Demonstrate their mechanical background and knowledge of 3-D mechanical assemblies

·         Has the ability to read and interpret assembly drawings.

·         Experience with Inventor, SolidWorks.

·         Document manufacturing procedures

·         perform research assistance, conduct experimental set-ups and tests, in addition to assisting engineers in product development and design enhancement.

·         Has the ability to perform technical measurement using standard laboratory tools. “desired”

Interns will be primarily engaged in Engineering documentation support such as documenting manufacturing procedures and processing Engineering Change Orders, 3-D conversion / drawing archiving and will also be asked to perform research assistance, conduct experimental set-ups and tests, in addition to assisting engineers in product development and design enhancement.

What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity is:

·         Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program for a Mechanical Engineering student pursuing a bachelor’s degree

·         A desire to learn the behind the scenes, of taking a product from Idea to shipping to the customer.
