· We’re currently looking for a Quality Engineer (Assembly and Machining) Intern to join our team. The position will be at the following location – Decherd, TN. Powertrain. This position will be a full-time role for Summer of 2022.

During the course of your internship, you will have the chance to:
· Work with data analysis systems (digitalization) – The growth of data analysis in engine powertrain production has been rapid in the past 10 years. This trend will continue to rise and defect recognition will continue to advance to insure that customer satisfaction will be exceeded. Big Data analysis will be key to monitoring and improving machining and assembly processes.
· Past Intern Projects & Activities:
· Defect mapping and recognition of engine assembly processes
· Advanced additive manufacturing technologies
· Engine tear down and defect investigation
· Engine hot test mapping and reporting
· Test cell troubleshooting
· Various Digital Acceleration projects (data analysis, monitoring, reporting, etc.)
· In order to qualify for this role, you must:
· Currently be pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
· GPA of 3.0 or above
· Strong organization ability with keen attention to detail
· Be self-motivated and willing to challenge yourself to develop your talents and skill sets
· Preferred experience with AutoCad, C++, Python and/or other related programing languages.
· Strong communication skills both written and oral
