ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible to enable assembly manufacturing areas to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.  Will be responsible to manage and implement at least one key project and support manufacturing engineer tasks and areas.  This internship requires an individual who is self motivated, mechanically inclined, and has a passion for excellence.  This internship is a summer internship that is focused on providing a student first hand manufacturing engineering job experience at a powertrain assembly manufacturing facility.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

1.    Pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
2.    Academic excellence: Minimum of a 3.0 overall GPA
3.    High level of integrity, thoroughness, flexibility, initiative and teamwork
4.    Ability to think outside the box in order to solve crucial problems
5.    Excellent written, oral and interpersonal English communication skills
6.    Working knowledge of MS Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
