What You Will Do:

Inspiring Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of talented design engineers, driving their professional growth and development.
Set priorities, allocate tasks, and oversee the team to achieve ambitious project targets, budgets, and milestones.
Strategic Project Management:

Take charge of project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and successful project completion.
Identify and secure the necessary resources to drive project success.
Engineering Excellence:

Ensure top-tier quality in all engineering deliverables from your team.
Conduct thorough design reviews, lead project meetings, and provide clear status reports to stakeholders.
Innovative Problem Solving:

Tackle complex project challenges with innovative solutions.
Reallocate resources and develop effective resolutions to meet project objectives.
Customer-Centric Approach:

Act as the primary liaison for key customers, building strong professional relationships and understanding their needs.
Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting demands within the contracted scope.
Comprehensive Program Management:

Oversee all phases of programs from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to guidelines.
Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, work statements, and specifications.
Effective Coordination & Communication:

Serve as the bridge between project management, engineering teams, and line management.
Ensure seamless communication and coordination across all project facets.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position
Qualifications We Prefer:

Aerospace Interiors Expertise: Demonstrated experience in the design and certification of Aerospace Interiors Systems, bringing your unique insights and expertise to our projects.
Mechanical Engineering Degree: A solid foundation with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, equipping you with the technical knowledge to excel in this role.
Proficiency with NX and Teamcenter: Leverage your proficiency with NX and Teamcenter software to streamline design processes and enhance project outcomes.
Direct experience with development Designing and certification of Aerospace Interiors Systems is preferred.
