Role Overview
We are looking for a technically sharp Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate the internal infrastructure and developer platform that powers all engineering teams.
This is a high-leverage role — you will build the systems that every engineer and AI service depends on to ship fast and operate reliably at scale.
You will treat internal infrastructure as a product: optimizing developer experience, system reliability, and platform performance for a rapidly growing AI-native company.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture
Design and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, or Azure
Build scalable systems for compute, networking, storage, and IAM
Manage Kubernetes clusters (autoscaling, Helm, service mesh, workloads)
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation
2. CI/CD & Developer Tooling
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for all engineering teams
Implement deployment strategies like canary, blue-green, and rollback systems
Create internal developer tools that improve engineering velocity
Evaluate and integrate platform tools to improve reliability and efficiency
3. Observability & Monitoring
Build observability systems using metrics, logs, and distributed tracing
Maintain dashboards for system health, latency, and service reliability
Design alerting systems that reduce noise and improve incident response
Monitor platform performance, cost, and developer experience metrics
4. Reliability & Scalability
Design highly available, fault-tolerant platform systems
Optimize performance, latency, and infrastructure utilization
Build autoscaling and capacity management systems for variable workloads
Implement cost optimization strategies without sacrificing reliability
5. Security & Compliance
Enforce infrastructure security best practices (IAM, encryption, secrets management)
Ensure compliance with privacy-first design principles
Manage vulnerability scanning, patching, and infrastructure hardening
Collaborate on DevSecOps practices across the organization
6. Cross-Functional Platform Ownership
Work closely with engineering, AI, and data teams
Build platform tooling that improves productivity across the company
Document architecture, systems, and operational processes
Drive a platform-as-a-product culture with continuous iteration
Required Qualifications
Experience
3+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles
Experience building cloud-native infrastructure at scale
Hands-on Kubernetes and production infrastructure experience
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Startup or fast-paced environment experience preferred
Technical Skills
Strong programming skills (Python, Go, TypeScript, or similar)
Deep cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration expertise
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation)
CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Jenkins)
Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK/OpenSearch)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AI/ML infrastructure or model serving systems
Background in real-time or low-latency distributed systems
Experience building internal developer platforms or tooling systems
Knowledge of chaos engineering or resilience testing
Multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud experience
Contributions to open-source infrastructure projects
Experience in SaaS, edtech, or consumer-scale platforms
