Actalent is currently seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer for a company in Knoxville, TN

Description:

·         This company is seeking an entry-level and talented Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer for their Tennessee facility.

·         Some responsibilities will include troubleshooting equipment and process problems to root cause and providing engineered solutions to these problems.

·         This role will work on large equipment rebuilds, and development, justification, management, and implementation of capital projects.

·         The successful applicant will be expected to develop into the equipment expert for an area of the department and provide technical leadership for the equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited College/University is Required

·         Exposure to manufacturing or engineering environment; Co-op, or Internship experience is a preferred

·         Strong Mechanical Aptitude – Comfortable being hands-on in a manufacturing setting

·         Ability to work in a team or individual setting as needed

·         AutoCAD or similar CAD software experience is preferred
